18 Passenger Minibus

Choose from a variety of exterior colors including black, white, silver, gray, blue, red, navy, and yellow. Custom wraps are available for corporate branding, school spirit, or event-specific graphics. Interior finishes are neutral and easy to clean, with dark upholstery and slip-resistant flooring. If you have a color preference for photos or branding purposes, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Standard amenities include reclining cloth or vinyl seats, front/rear HVAC, LED reading lights, 110V/USB outlets, and Bluetooth audio. Additional features may include TV monitors, DVD player, PA system, free WiFi, and tinted windows. Overhead storage racks are built-in, and rear cargo area holds coolers or equipment cases. Some models offer upgraded sound systems, leatherette seating, or tables for gaming/snacks. Buses are clean, comfortable, and comfortable for trips of any length.

The cost to rent an 18-passenger minibus ranges from $150 to $430+ per hour, $1,520 to $3,255 per day, or $4.00 to $7.95 per mile. Factors that influence pricing include trip length, total mileage, number of days, and whether the vehicle needs to deadhead from another city. Additional charges may apply for tolls, parking, and driver lodging on overnight trips. Peak demand periods such as MSU Homecoming, RibFest weekend, or Grape Stomp Festival at Morgan Creek Vineyard can increase rates. Off-peak discounts may be available for midweek or winter bookings.

The 18-passenger minibus is larger than our 15-passenger model but smaller than 20- and 25-passenger versions. It offers more headroom and aisle space than a van, while being easier to maneuver and park than a full-size coach. Luggage capacity is similar to the 15-passenger but less than larger minibuses with rear trunks. Amenities are comparable across the fleet, though smaller buses have fewer TVs or slightly less legroom. For groups under 20, this is the best balance of comfort, cost, and flexibility.

We recommend booking your minibus at least 3 to 6 months in advance—especially if your trip falls during peak times like college graduation at Minnesota State University (early May), wedding season (June–September), or major sporting events at Blakeslee Stadium. Spring and summer are the busiest seasons for charter reservations statewide, so the earlier you lock in your reservation, the more options and better pricing you’ll have. Last-minute bookings can sometimes be accommodated but may face limited availability or higher rates.

This minibus has modest luggage space, typically allowing each passenger one smaller carry-on bag in overhead compartments or under-seat areas. Larger suitcases, coolers, or band equipment may require shared use of the rear bench or stacking in the aisle. For airport runs or out-of-town trips, plan for one standard carry-on per person (about 20” x 13” x 9”), with extra items stowed at the back. If your group has extensive luggage, sports gear, or instruments, please specify so we can advise on fit or suggest a larger bus with dedicated rear storage. For most local shuttles and day trips, capacity is sufficient for backpacks, tote bags, and personal belongings.
